Trend Alert: Everything basket woven!
If it means taking up underwater basket weaving, I’ll do it! That’s how badly I am digging this trend! This au natural, bohemian, always-on-resort-time look really hit the trend stream hard last year. We saw the round straw bags, the basket-inspired totes all in a pale straw hue. Well this season, it’s back with a colorful vengeance boasting not only bags and totes, but jewelry and shoes as well.
Of course I have always, and will always have a special place in my heart for any kind of straw hat (I think my husband is a little concerned about the amount of space my straw hats are taking up in our home), but here I wanted to showcase some of the more unexpected, jovial, colorful and unique pieces that this spring and summer season have to offer.
I’ve also incorporated this trend in a few home decor pieces that I’ll share once the weather gets a tad bit warmer… So many cute pieces I know you guys will love. Stay tuned!

So I tried this hat on at Bergdorf’s and it is a showstopper! If you’re going on vacation this summer anywhere exotic, this is the piece, just so incredible!
I have to say, this is one of my favorite pieces of all…. I love these two colors together and love the textures of the basket weave with the jewels!
