I’m a personal stylist. Follow along on my adventures and my love for style; in the closet, in the home and the garden… and my personal belief that one should always make all things beautiful!
Over the last few years, I’ve expanded my styling services to include home decor. From staging a home for a real estate developer, sprucing up rooms that haven't been touched in years, to putting the finishing touches on every day rooms, and even creating unique tablescapes for special family gatherings. Here is a peek of some of the work I’ve done in my clients’ homes … and because of my deep appreciation for my clients’ privacy, these are only a few examples of the work I’ve done.
{Summer 2020} {Client Work~Birthday Dinner} There’s nothing I love more than to dine al fresco, so when my client told me she wanted to set up her birthday dinner outside for 12 of her girlfriends, I couldn’t wait to start the design process. Because of COVID, we had come up with a few different designs that would accommodate everyone comfortably yet keep people at a good distance, and came up with the style theme of Late Summer Night’s Dream. A long table with late summer blooms such as local sunflowers, lisianthus and grasses in small vases arranged down the row to evoke the feeling of an expansive meadow… I was so excited to execute the design, but the weather had other plans for me. Because of the slight wind that was blowing through that evening, the tiny vases couldn’t hold up the weight of the flowers and kept toppling over. I improvised by using a few white low vases and arranged the flowers on an angle, as if they were meadow flowers being blown to the side by the wind. Each place setting was adorned with simple white tableware and raffia chargers, and to make the table really sparkle once the sun set, white pillar candles strewn down the whole length of the table.
{Winter 2019} {Client Work~Hanukkah Table} Because of the particular style of this home, a mix of modern and eclectic, I wanted the look to be festive and bright, but minimalistic and chic. Hanukkah is known as the “festival of lights,” and I wanted that to be the feeling of this design. Because the menorah plays such an important role in the story of Hanukkah, I wanted it to be the highlight of the design… something fun yet unexpected. I found these tall vases and instead of using them for floral, I imagined them lined up to create a menorah (see 2nd photo). The length of the table was sprinkled with fake snow, and for floral, I used the whitest hydrangeas I could find, and a little bit of white ranunculus mixed in for some added texture. I wanted the snow to really sparkle so I put a little under-lighting along with small white votives here and there. And in true Hanukkah fashion, some golden chocolate gelt for each guest in their place setting.
{Fall 2019} {Client Work~Thanksgiving Table}To match the style of the home, a mix of modern and eclectic, I designed these small bouquets that I placed inside of carved out gourds and squash. The bouquets were a mix of South African protea, artichokes, silver bell eucalyptus and pink roses. For the table runner, I created this long strand of magnolia leaves that cascaded over the edges of the table. I used simple white pillar candles to play along with the stark white plates and to give off some cozy lighting.
{Fall 2019} Thanksgiving. I absolutely love to host Thanksgiving, and every year, I like to imagine a brand new tablescape. This year, I went with the theme of abundance… abundance of health, abundance of luck, abundance of laughter, abundance of food, and I wanted to celebrate all of that. I designed this spread with an abundance of beautiful foods and flowers; artichokes, chestnuts, clementines, pears and figs all on a bed of magnolia leaves. For the floral, I used silver bell eucalyptus, pink garden roses, artichokes and these gorgeous amaryllises that bloomed just in time for dinner.
{Fall 2019} For my mom’s birthday dinner, I designed the whole tablescape around these three candelabras I found months prior. I loved their rustic look and they’re creamy color. Instead of using all the votives as candle holders, I instead used them as mini vases for the floral. I chose these beautiful hues of purple and orange to play off the whites of the candelabra and table cloth. I really wanted the floral to pop!
{Fall 2019} Rosh Hashanah dinner, the start of the Jewish New Year. I love using my chinoiserie jars whenever I can, and I love how they look with the color pink! For this tablescape, I used a light pink tablecloth along with a chinoiserie print placemat, my lettuce plates and colorful chinoiserie napkins. For the floral, I used pink roses, button dahlias, bishop balls and some fall grasses from my garden. And to start the new year off on a sweet note, Levi and I made a delicious French tarte aux pommes!
{Summer 2019} I designed this simple tablescape to celebrate my husband. It was just the two for us for dinner at our home, so I set the table for two, but went big with the floral piece. A chinoiserie jar with tall tree branches to make it feel like we were eating dinner under a large tree… I incorporated summer’s favorite floral, the hydrangea, and added a few lemons to the mix. It’s one of my favorite floral elements to use in the summertime and nothing beats a bright yellow mixed in with blue.
{Summer 2019} For my daughter’s 1st birthday, I threw a “pink lemonade” fête outside on our patio despite the 98 degree temps that day. Pink roses, lemons, hydrangea with raffia and wicker details along the length of the tablescape. I also added pink roses to the string lights above the table to add to the romantic feel of the decor. And with the help of my boys, baked a homemade birthday cake incorporating the same colored floral onto the cake to tie everything together.
{Spring 2019} {Step-dad’s birthday} As you can see, I love to entertain outdoors! For my step-dad’s 60th birthday, I set this spring-inspired table for a feast. The tablecloth really played up the color palette, and I mixed my green lettuce plates in with the rattan chargers. I also used these smaller hurricanes for the floral, instead of for candles, and coordinated these taller hurricanes for a little flicker. For floral, I used roses, garden roses, hydrangea, these incredibly colored pink peonies and blueberry branches. For outdoor casual dinners, I don’t like to overdo it with the plates and silverware, just simple… but I make the table pop with everything else!
This is a home I staged for a real estate developer in Cape Cod, MA. She wanted something neutral that would appeal to every type of buyer, something that would match the Cape Cod style, but something that would set her house apart from all the others on the market. When it comes to staging, it’s an important investment, but it’s certainly something that can cost the seller a lot of money. I had a very tight budget to work with and therefore, I had to find the perfect pieces, find minimal amounts of furniture that would capture the essence of the space, not just act as extras in the space.

This is one of the rooms in a client’s home that I redecorated. She wanted this room to be functional again, to serve as a guest room for when they had company, a space that they would feel cozy and at home in. We went with cool blues and icy grays as a neutral color palette, so that it would appeal to any guest’s design aesthetic. And we loved the addition of stone and crystal accent pieces for a nature-inspired look.
